Oona was by Mama's side the whole birth. She had told the midwife for the past few months that she was going to be the "catcher baby" (baby catcher). Boden was born on Tuesday 7:25 am at home in Topanga. Oona just adores him.
Oona is all about jumping these days. This is her third summer camping on Slocan, this year, we have a family size tent! We were with Deb and Miles, who were visiting from South Pasadena.
Ok, I thought about cropping out from my belly button down, but art won over vanity. I'm only 6 months pregnant if you can believe it. Here we are on our way back from fishing.
The Groundwaters came to visit, and Oona remembered their last visit in the winter, and called the girls by their winter jacket colors. "Where's the blue guy?"
Oona had her first ballet recital at a theater at Pepperdine University here in Malibu. It was terribly cute and funny. Oona danced with Pocahontas who was sweet enough to carry her on and off stage in the dark.
We made an unexpected trip to Tulum, Mexico in April after our stints in Toronto, and NYC. Oona's on the beach with her dad outside our cabana, and at the ruins (notice the gigantic iguana blending into the background).
