Tante Roo bounces in!

Tante (German for Aunt) Roo hadn't planned on visiting so soon, but she couldn't bear not being the first one to hold and meet her very first niece. It was love at first sight. Since Roo's arrival, Oona hasn't kept Mama up at all through the night!

3 DAYS OLD

Oh she's so snuggly!

Oona is an old Gaelic name, that means "one, unity, and wholeness". Spelled in variation: Oonaugh, it means lamb.

BIRTHDAY !

We had a beautiful home birth early Friday morning after 40 weeks and 2 days of waiting. Little Oona Blackman Duffy arrived at 5:35 a.m. January 23, 2009! She was 7 lbs. and 13 oz. and we just love her to bits!
